Jason and Suren in the Studio

     Former Chicagoan Jason Smith was in the studio to record a self tape. He was only in town from LA for two days (Actors: I say it all the time - if you want an audition, go out of town. Your agent is sure to call while you're away). It was a pleasure to meet and work with him!

     I also had the opportunity to meet and work with another young actor - 10-year-old Suren. Keep him on your radar - this kid is going places! For one thing, he's fluent in three languages...need I say more?

     It's the first day of June, the sun is shining and the weather couldn't be better here in Chicago. Ever since the television networks hosted their upfronts (where they announce the shows that are returning or coming to the network for the next season), auditions have really picked up for local and out-of-town actors. I recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with Christina Thompson, who stopped by Acting Studio Chicago for a self tape. Keep it up, everyone!

Abby's Back!

     Since the last time I taped Abby for an audition, she's booked a role on Chicago Med, received callbacks for commercial and theatre gigs, placed in dance competitions, and even done some modeling. The girl is BUSY.  

It's a joy to see how much she's grown as an actor over time. Keep up the great work, Abby!
