In an effort to broaden my availability to actors, I have some exciting news! I recently converted a spare room into a home studio space.
Home Studio
Typically, I tape my sessions at Acting Studio Chicago, located in the Near North Side of Chicago. As you know, however, an actor's schedule doesn't always align with regular business hours. Sometimes you're on set all day and can only tape in the evening, or your day job prevents you from recording your audition during the week, so you are only available on the weekends. My home studio, located in the Lakeview neighborhood, allows me more flexibility to work around your schedule.
Complete with all of the professional equipment you would find at other recording studios, I guarantee your audition will look and sound just as fabulous as if we had recorded it at the downtown location. Just take a look at these still shots from recent sessions, including one with Ari Afsar, Eliza in the Chicago production of Hamilton:
Acting Studio Chicago will always be my first option when scheduling your recording, particularly for its convenient location to the theatre district and nearby hotels where out-of-town actors are often situated. But just know that in the event studio space is unavailable there at the time you need it, you are not out of luck!
Another round of Matt Miller's Virtual Showcase is upon us! I've just completed today's editing session for this month's group of actors - lots of familiar faces in this one! What is the Virtual Showcase, you ask? Find more info HERE.

It is officially Spring, and to kick off the new season, I'm offering up a few discounts for the months of March and April. Through April 30, enjoy $5 off a half hour taping, or $10 off an hour taping. In addition to these, if you refer a friend and they tape with me between now and April 30, they will receive the Spring discount and you will receive...wait for it...20% off your next taping. Just mention "SPRING HAS SPRUNG" when you schedule your appointment. If referring a friend, make sure your friend mentions the "REFER-A-FRIEND DISCOUNT" when scheduling. Happy Spring!

How is it March already???!! I can't believe Spring is almost here (woot woot)! Just a heads up, I'll be closed March 11 - March 20 because I am going out of town. I'll post a reminder as we get nearer to that date.
In other news, I've posted a Rates & Cancellation Policy button on the home page. For those of you who have been taping with me for a while, you'll notice a slight increase. Half-hour appointments are $45, and hour-long appointments are $70. If you need to cancel, I ask that you do so at least 2 hours prior to your confirmed appointment, otherwise you will be charged in full for the session.

Next week is the last week to drop off donations for refugees at Acting Studio Chicago or PR Casting. I'll be by at some point on Friday, February 24 to pick up the boxes.
